 At Salvia BioElectronics BV in Eindhoven, we offer a challenging, varied and rewarding opportunity. 
 
We are seeking to hire  an Electrical / Mechanical Technician who will work with and support our Equipment Engineering team helping Salvia to develop our Medical Devices. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues across Operations, Engineering, R&D, and Quality. Primarily you will be supporting our engineers in set up/installation, commissioning, calibration, reactive and preventative maintenance, of our production equipment and tools. This could include anything from Multimeters to bespoke medical device tooling used in a clean room environment. 
You will be the first point of contact for equipment-related issues and will play a key role in keeping our manufacturing line up and running delivering top performance. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of electrical and mechanical installations
  • Troubleshooting and signalling technical bottlenecks
  • Installation and replacement of equipment and tooling in line with technical specifications and schedules.
  • Perform equipment in-house calibrations, maintenance, and support qualification routines (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Ensure all documentation is in order: equipment records, calibration logs, maintenance reports.
  • Support and train production employees in the efficient use of specific tools and machines.
  • Partner with engineering on process improvements and scalability of operations.
  • Act as first-line support for troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.

Your profile

  • Completed MBO diploma in mechanical and / or Electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a technical role (equipment maintenance, calibration, or tooling).
  • Hands on experience workshop tools and equipment like lathe machine, drilling machine, soldering, basic electrical wiring.
  • Skilled in the setup, optimization, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience in performing preventive maintenance and inspections;
  • Able to locate and solve malfunctions in mechanical installations;
  • Comfortable optimizing and managing remote arrangements.
  • A strong communicator with experience of collaborating with colleagues and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Knowledge of cleanroom environments (Class 7 or lower) is preferred.
  • Experience in medical device assembly (e.g. silicone molding, interconnect technologies) would be of great benefit.
  • Knowledge of CAD is advantageous but not essential.3-D printer experience is a plus
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. 
  • Dutch language fluency would be a plus. 
  • Organized, structured, and accurate in your work.
  • A team player with a can-do mindset, but also able to work independently.
  • Motivated to grow with a scale-up company and help build scalable production processes.
